    I just had it done on my ironman and i had to show my fire cape and also trade it in.... was via parsec, if anything changes, i'll let you guys know here.

    Yes but not at a very high rate. Most services I've seen have very low removal rates especially when using remote viewing apps. More players are capable of completing it now to so it's harder for Jagex to tell if they are truly boosted.

    Guys nobody should be surprised. If you did not receive the cape on your own IP, it is going to be removed. VPN caping died a long time ago and there are simply many players who are uninformed and continue to try it.

    Pretty much. Get a cape done via parsec/teamviewer/gotomypc and it won't be removed. Simple as that.

    All the more reason to never buy a cape and just do it legit. The caves are too easy to learn to be paying $200+ just for the risk of it being removed in my opinion.

    Apparently some remote/splashtop/parsec caves have been removed this wave.

    Players caught ranged from those one banging Zuk, to those that had 17 tries, to those that had bought 4 capes (even on task Capes). Some caught used BTC while others caught traded GP on alt. Still within the 99% safe number but at this point it’s anyone’s guess what’s safe.

    shouldn't have any risk at all when using parsec. safe to assume that these people who has their capes revoked are those dudes who just straight off hand over their credentials to people on a different country.

    Pretty sure they stated that on twitter when the cape first came out. They didnt want to devalue the cape since it is so hard to get.
