I'm saying effective as far as Jagex actually being willing to unban you.

If it's a different IP, who's to say you didn't simply move, visit a different area, or hell, even have a different house that you go to. Jagex isn't completely stupid, so I wouldn't make the assumption that it's a foolproof method.

Trust me that won't work.

When you appeal you will get a msg saying you should have taken extra measures to prevent your account from being hijacked, such as JAG, and the account will remain banned, you are welcome to review your rules and guidlines for safe account managment and create a new account.

Something along those lines, speaking from experience.

If you're so sure then try it, but I'd be willing to bet they won't do anything. I've had my fair share of dealing with Jagex for similar things and they have a simple "fuck off, it's your fault" motto.
And you're planning on paying someone to max your account by hand? 1) Must be rich. 2) Why play?

It's your own fault for botting! Count yourself lucky to not be PERM'ed.

 

I've been using Kminer since it was created on rscheata for ibot, it's not the script it's the user and it doesn't matter if you not an hour a day or 10 hours a day. It's all about the location. I had an account I suicide botted to 99 mining in the guild resource and its been almost for months since I hit 99, only thing you can do is bot it back up, but not in lrc.


And the whole pretending someone stole your account thing doesn't work, had plenty of friends try that crap, if you actually get banned for botting then make a new account.
