I was thinking about using it to buy and sell some rsgp but, have a few questions 1st.

Ive Just Started the process of linking my bank account so the limit is raised

1. How Safe is it? Free From Chargebacks and such?
2. How Popular is it? ive seen it around a few times but ive never really looked for it
3. Are The fees big?
4. how quick is it to receive the money?
5. can you xfer it to paypal anyway? or only back into my bank account?

 

1. Its very similar to paypal, a credit card dispute would result in a chargeback.
2. Its most popular for international trades. Of course not as popular as paypal.
3. Fees are very minimal
4. Instant from one moneybookers account to another.
5. Can transfer to bank account, not to paypal.

 

Chargebacks only occur if one reports un authorized payment.

 

So if its balance funded it can't be chargedback?

 

If the buyer claims unauthorized, just like paypal any form of payment can be charged back.

It definitely offers more protection than paypal.

 

but is there still a high chance of getting chargedback?

 

It is a lot harder to chargeback. Id say 1 in 10-15 paypal transactions are chargebacked, maybe 1 in 40 or so chargebacked on moneybookers.

Its hard to say if theres a "high chance" because anyone can dispute any type of transaction. I, myself, have sold 5b+ through moneybookers and have maybe had 1 dispute of 100m or so. I personally like moneybookers more than PayPal, but it is far less used than PayPal

It is not 100% chargeback free, but much more secure than Paypal. They have a system to verify credit card ownership.

Still not as popular as Paypal, but has a following.

Currency conversion is high fee, otherwise no.

Instant.

5. can you xfer it to paypal anyway? or only back into my bank account?

No, there is no way to directly transfer to Paypal through the Moneybookers system.
