Laptop for $700-800

[Sweetaction]

Hey can you tell me where/what to get? I'm looking for something that will run WoW and RuneScape at Medium settings.

[Amber Divineâ„¢]

Any laptop for $700 would be able to run those on medium, they aren't very demanding.

Maybe try a desktop if you're more into gaming, an $800 desktop should be able to run them both on the highest.

[Sweetaction]

Thank you Amber I'll most likely do that

[Sweetaction]

Hey does anyone agree with Amber that ANY $800 desktop will run those games on max settings?

Not ANY. If you build one and you have someone who knows what they're doing pick out the parts, you can get a very good deal. If you but a pre-built desktop, you'll get ripped off and it won't play jack.

If you're still looking for a good laptop for $800
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215266

Reliable brand, powerful cpu + gpu, decent amount of RAM (still can be upgraded).

[Iniuria]

I think that'll run your games

[DragosPaul]

That laptop above can run both your games at more than maximum.

Thanks again everybody, I tried to buy the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834215266 that was mentioned above for 779.99 but it was all out of stock, so instead I ordered basically the same laptop for 899.99 off amazon, hopefully it's better!

just don't get a sony vaio it will break down on you in a matter of months =[ i should've got a mac

I'd get a desktop IMO, a desktop is always better than a laptop at functionality.

Unless you are moving around quite constantly (the business sort of person) a laptop would suit you perfect.

But if you're just that typical gamer, who stays in the house playing WoW all day, I would say a desktop worth at the same price of a laptop would perform better than a laptop does.
