Why did i get banned?

Hey guys, i made a wow account about a year ago (paladin/human) lvl 28 well i
never played wow before i would mostly play runescape so i gave it a try it was quite fun and addicting. I took a brake from it and came back about 4 months later to find i couldn't log in they locked my account i sent them a ticket and quickly they gave me back my account i played again for awhile then was on and off again. i took another brake and came back it was banned for selling/buying real world stuff that was why i was banned. I don't understand i never did anything like that i didn't tell anyone i know i was playing wow and my computer has a great anti-virus protection program. This has never happened to me in any other online game before its crazy i think because i was inactive they banned me. I asked them to tell me why and they never responded to any of my tickets did this happen to anyone else or am i the only one?

 

Same thing happened to my account. Gold sellers hacked my account and then my account was used to spam a goldselling website. I just recovered my account, then open a ticket to get all of your stuff back.

I reccomend if you have an iDevice or are very serious about Wow you could get their authenticator. Its free on Ipod touch/Iphone and I think it is $6 for them to send you a small keychain type thing in the mail that serves the same purpose.

 

Call them. Ive had this happen to me before, just call there customer support and explain everything. there very helpful and youll get it unbanned in no time.
