Imageshack Users - Please read

Due to the massive amount of re-sized/illegible screenshots being posted, I'm making a quick guide for you Imageshack users. I posted this in the Report a Scammer section, but I want to ensure this gets seen as much as possible so I'm putting it here and also in the guide section.

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS PLEASE.




When uploading your image, follow these steps:

Step 1:
Before uploading your image, click the dropdown box beside "Image Resize" -- Ensure you select the "Do Not Resize" option




Step 2: Upload your image as usual




Step 3: Use the following link to post your image




Step 4: *OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED*

Un-Edited link looks like this:



PLEASE edit out the crossed-out part of the link.



This should leave the following:




Step 5: Post your thread!​

Imageshack was annoying alot eh? Less clicking for you mods! and thanks for the guide n4no.

 

It's not only less clicking, but it makes scam reports (as well as any other type of image post) easier to read. It just makes life easier for everyone.

Rather than asking a user to re-post their screenshots because they were re-sized, this is an attempt to mitigate that problem.

 

I use TinyPic for most of my screenshots, unless I need a thumbnail. Thanks for the guide though, will definitely help a lot of people

Great guide n4n0, but I think more people should start using screensnapr/puush.

 

I definitely agree, but we all know that's not going to happen. So my plan is to at least educate the Imageshack users on how to properly post an image.

I have no idea why the pics would ever come out to be thumbnails, to be honest. I personally use the "Direct Link" part of Imageshack and enclose that with

 

Or you can just use Puush, like n4n0 did to make this guide.

 

I use Photobucket because FB login is easy and it only resizes thread layouts, for which I just use imageshack
