Delete Bumping

I think this should be allowed, I already know all the counter arguments but this is just my opinion.

-Everyone can do it, there is no advantage one person has over another
-A selling thread in the runescape market (Account Level 3-59) will fall off the first page in like 10 minutes and off the second page in like 15 minutes max, that is a super narrow window to find the right buyer for your account (just an example)
-You don't gain any post count because the post is being deleted
-Maybe allow like 2 deletion bumps?

Refuting your points in order as you've written them:

-And as soon as someone logs off, their market threads are buried beneath everyone else since you would be able to bump as often as you want
-See my previous point, threads will fly even faster off the page if there's no restriction on the number of bumps (delete bumps or otherwise) per day
-This is true, but hardly the issue
-There's no way to regulate the amount of delete bumps per day because only a staff can see when a post has been deleted, and the staff can't check every single thread to make sure people are adhering to "two delete-bumps per day", and users wouldn't be able to report the issue.


Then there's also the issue that newfags don't know how to delete their own posts.

 

Maybe this isn't the best suggestion but having your thread be visible to buyers for 10-15minutes per 24 hours doesn't sound too appealing.

 

Wouldn't it still just be a bumping war? People would be constantly be trying to out bump the rest of the users to have their thread on the first page. That's just my opinion. And also if people want what your selling enough to buy it they will look through more then 1 page of threads to find it at least I would so why does it really matter if your on the first page or 2nd.

 

This wouldn't work out at all. As Creasy said, this would just turn into a bumping war, people would sit there and bump intil they got a sale, complete the sale, then go back to bumping.

 

This would just crash the market section, I don't think it should be allowed.
