Can someone explain to me what "Horse Games" is?

I imagine it's a dice game variant? Anyone care to fill me in?

 

It's the replacement for dice game. When you click to use a horse, there are three options that arise.

Hi Ho! -
Neeaaaaaaaayhh -
Come Dobbin -

The - indicates that there is more to the sentence but that's how the start. You give the host your bet and you either say H N or C. They then host a dice duel in which say you chose H, your opponent chooses either N or C. Say they chose C, the host clicks on the horse and one of the three messages come up. If it is one of the messages starting with a letter that wasn't chosen, it's a real roll.

So:

H - Hi Ho
N - Neaaay
C - Come Dobbin

You choose one, your opponent chooses one. Whoever one the horse that the host clicks on says, wins.

There is a 1/3 chance in better winning, and 2/3 you winning.

On quiet world you can get away with x2, or if you are trusted.
Otherwise w2 is populated by x3 horse members which if you are being trustworthy (which is the best way, get more bets. always end up winning eventually) could hurt your bank if you have not got the money to win it back.

e,g. you have 74 mil bank

someone bets 20m if x2 and they win its 40m payout
someone bets 20m if x3 and they win its 60m payout
which would leave you with a mountain to climb.

Dont spam to much, because you will be muted. ME and farmer...

One of them will have to choose a different letter. But Jagex will probably nerf this like they did with the skull. It's just matter of time.

 

If they nerf Toy Horses then they might aswell go on a nerf hunt for anything that could substitute dicing . . .

 

Easier for them to let the players find it and then just nerf whatever was found.

 

Played that game for a bit. Kept Losing, then someone said
theres a order of what the horse will say. Don't know if its true.

Also, i agree with what the others said, they disabled Dices, its just a matter of time until they get to the Horses

 

This is funny, they keep looking for different things but jagex is going to keep patching them. I wonder if it's completely random or not (the horse thing).

 

Before Dragon Dyce Implemented Horses, we had 10 hosts and 10 randoms record horses over 500 rolls . It averages to 1/3 for each option. So when you bet with Dragon Dyce Horses, 2 opponents will take 2 of the 3 options [ HI HO/Neigh/Come on] and the host will activate their horse and the option which comes up first wins. If an option comes up that wasn't picked, there is a re-ride.

Most fair way to gamble that I have seen for ingame dicing. For those that want to try irc dicing, we are on #dragondyce in the SwiftIRC.

 

This is to easy to fix, instead of it being random Jagex can just make a screen to pick whatever you want to say so it won't be random anymore

 

Wish they would just implement a gambling system.

 

They have one for a Quest, I forgot which one, but you can keep doing it until you finish the quest

 

Sounds like theres a lot of room for hosts to scam.
