this may sound like a dumbass question but nowadays im being forced to legit train (gf bots) and i despise training melee skills with a passion so i have 2 questions.

    i have 50 att and 50 strength

    1. should i get 60 att or strength first?

    2. what weapon should i use? and on what monster

the reason i ask about question 2 i because i was looking over gmace stats and speed and it is only a notch slower than rune scim. im doin a turmy zerker if that matters.

    thanx

Strength ... remember attack and defence should be quested to the max before being trained.

Rune scim/slayer staff/sacred clay staff should be solid choices.

Most pures limit their attack like their defence.

In short, the DPS of a granite mace is slower than a rune cimitar. Plus, the monsters you train on probably wouldn't be that strong.

Attack is such a severely under rated skill. I would not mind having 85 or 90 or even 99 on a zerker.

With your attack that high, your combat level would be too high. You'd be fighting barrows pures that would easily tear through a zerker

Not necessarily, ever heard of wtf elvemage? He had no problem with barrows pures. The high attack of the zerker usually counters the def or a barrows pure.

but if u r fighting barrows pures then they would have lower...melee stats...i just think it would be hard to quest 75 att in the first place

Keep 60/75 attack, preferably 60 tbh.

Anything above 75 and as stated above, you'll come against barrows pures (or even sorrows) who will absolutely tear through you.

    60 attack and quest it!
Uh, I say keep attack to 60 and just raise strength from there, or you could get a 90/90 build which works pretty well.

have you done things like, fight arena? and i would get like 65 str^ before attempting attack, and i would go for brine sabre at rock crabs with cb brace climbing boots and str ammy.
