126 Data RSPS

Im currently working on Implementing the 126 data which includes:

-Cerberus
-Demonic Gorillas
-Wildy bosses
-Kraken
-60+ pets
-New Clue Scroll Items *some*
-New Slayer Helmets
-New teleports
-Some custom bosses(Skeleton warlord, The Inadequacy, Zezima, Corrupt sorceress)
-Nieves slayer dungeon & cave krakens
-Armour trimming
-Fixed ironman sprites + added support sprite
-Ironman mode & Ultimate ironman modes fix
-Fixed objects(doesnt lag the server when you mine rocks or cut trees)
-Lots of items and outfits(Abyssal dagger, bluggeon, Ballistas, Zenyte, Shayzien teir 5, deadman armour
-cosmetic outfits such as farmers outfit, wrangers outfit, gravedigger outfit)
-Point systems and shops(skill points most skills, pvm points)
-Skiller max capes & full max capes with correct stats and creation
-Working hunter

My question is. Is there something that you guys think should not be added in the game?

Im gonna be implementing all these updates in the next couple of days. If i can manage adding all this content in the server then Sythescape should be one of the select few 317 bases with 126 data.

 

plz remove ALL TELEPORTS from the game because they devalue my in game experience because most of the in game experience is derived from walking around and actually experiencing the game as a whole instead of teleporting from place to place and missing out on more than half of the in game experience which is such a pity because the in game experience you get from traversing the land in old school runescape is honestly one of the best in game experiences comparable to the in game experience you get from experiencing wow in game.

 

That's what's appealing to most people about private servers. They're convenient. The majority of players that play private servers don't want to have to grind for stats and quests, they also don't want to walk all the way around the game and explore. I can see where you're coming from however, maybe removing that in a separate game mode/account setting like some servers have could be smart. But I don't see it being relevant now.

Yeah, this kicked ass so much, this would make server soooo popular. Richard and Artur agreed, but I think we need some extra files or something.

is it really necessary when 2007scape is already out? Why go play a private server, knowing its going to eventually shut down, when you could invest your time in real runescape that is very similar graphic wise compared to rs3. Also this reminds me of dodian servers, and those are long dead afaik, one came up recently and it only peaked to around 20 people.

 

I actually never agreed to have a 2006scape server, I find the newer content to be way better as a game player rather it being classic and not as many features, dodian always died out when they tried launching the 2006 style servers because people got bored of how plain it is after a day.
We have already chosen this current base and the server has been worked on already. So we aren't going to be changing it to anything else, source is going to stay the same.

 

Why not go for a 508/525?

regardless, 508/525 don't make it far.

In the past 5 years or so, roughly only a few revisions actually had a impact/were domiant, 317, 474, 562, 614, 718+. 508/525 are plain and boring and are only good for pking servers, and I can't actually recall any 508/525 actually being on the top 10(and cachepacked models doesn't count)

 

There have been plenty, there's was the one which I can't remember the name of but was a PvP server in the fishing village which was number one for some time.

 

exactly, bet you can name some top 317 servers though or osrs ones

 

If it was a server like ikov it would be dope af, just saying

 

Ironman waste of time, in my opinion.

Until you get enough players and a stable economy.
