Seriously?

I wanted to buy a membership card, a seller on here PM'd me. Scammed me v7M. I took pics, but hey are iPhone quality. Is here a way to get a refund or something? I thought I could trust someone, but I guess not. I guess no membership or green skin for me. :/

The Carter IV. I don't get why refunds aren't given. They just ban a disposable account when some on here are rich and 7m is nothing for them. Then the scammed just makes another account and another gets scammed.

 

It's how the community is nowadays. Best advice would be to just report it with as much evidence as you have.

To a reasonable extent. Like 7M is barely anything, a party hat set is nothing for some. But like in dicing CC's when a person is scammed the owner usually refunds them if they can provide proof.

It's not really the money I care about, I just want to try to get a refund, because making money isn't my best task and I want to get a membership card before Runescape's party and the green skin promotion. It's just sad to scam 7M, that's like what? $5? People are just pathetic.

 

I will be tomorrow, I don't know how to upload pictures from an iPhone onto here and step dad has laptop to download some things and set up the printer.

 

You would be surprised how little people will scam you for... I've seen scams on here for 2-3M before. Its pathetic, thats $1.50 or less, something you could literally find in your couch.

And yea, there are those people who even scam 100k or less, if they spent time leveling skills or money making they would make much more moola.

 

I second this. If you can provide sufficient evidence and succeed in doing so, I to will refund you 7M in losses.

The deal is, if you have enough incriminating evidence, and the moderators review and verify said evidence and subsequently ban the culpit, I, and Marshall will refund you collectively. You need to create a thread in the 'Report a scammer' section comprised of the screenshots you've taken, as well as your perspective on what happened, and we'll go from there.

 

Ah ok, I have the chat logs on here, the chat logs on Runescape, and the first and second trade screen of the 7M. is that enough? I've never reported anyone.

 

Chat logs aren't sufficient evidence. I suggest you read the stickies in the report a scammer section for more details.

 

It says that PM isn't sufficient evidence. Well, I just have to hope that it along with the pictures are enough. Probably not, but it's worth a shot.
