Currently using a proxy, but im staying at my dads for two weeks and he has an unsecured wireless router at his and it is in a large student area so i was wondering if anyone has used his i.p on this site to scam or if it is just a miss-understanding.

We don't generally use IP's alone to determine evasion; you should be fine.
