Procrastination

So I have an essay due the day after tomorrow. Spent some time on Hulu, got on youtube and finally googled "Procrastination" after exhausting all other options.

Apparently theres this thing called "Student Syndrome" where you only apply yourself at the last possible moment before an assignment is due. Apparently 80%-95% of student experience this. Thoughts?

I do the same thing. You just have to do it slowly, bit by bit. Or spend time doing it at school where you will have less distractions.

Anyway, usually I try and live by "work first, play later"... then you actually have motivation to work..

I have the same problem, it is my biggest downfall. I always tell myself: Im going to buckle down and get to work! a few hours later I am nowhere. I lack the motivation to do anything, and I always find myself working at the last minute resulting in less satisfactory work. It is what I hate most about myself.

Yeah...I'm the worse when it comes to getting stuff done ahead of time, if I cracked down and studied and finished assignments on time my life would be 10x easier
