How long does it take one to process, tempted to start doing them.

Simply, they give me all the details, I try and recover the account, and then if it works, I agree that the trade commences? How long does one take though?

Anyway to get it done faster? Like would I have to hold the gold and account for an hour before I can give the details (changed) and the gold to the respective parties?

 

The average time should be ~20 minutes.

However sometimes (in my experience) they may take longer.

There's no way to get it done quicker.

It's simply Jagexs' processing system and really depends on the number of recovery test being taken place at the one time.

And yes, that's correct.

You hold onto the wealth plus the account details during the trade as a MM.

Once the buyer is satisfied and has acknowledged that he's registered his own email address and set his own recovery questions, then the gold will be traded to the seller of the account.

i'd just like to add, the more details the owner has the faster it'll be.
if they have every single detail it'll take 15-20, if they have very little info it will take longer
