    So as of yesterday my parents are getitng a divorce and everyone in the home is going their sperate ways my youngest sister is moving with my father. my other sister is moving to her bf's, and my mom is getting an apartment..now my prediciment is I cant stay in the current town i live in because i got alot of bad blood here, these guys litterally want to kill me so I've basically been a hermit for the last month real scared to leave my house, so I decided to move to another province with a friend we leave this wednesday, another issue with this is last june I found myself in trouble with the law, I aquired a indictiable charge and am facing up to 18 months if convicted but my lawyer told me that I do have a strong defense and for 5000$ he's convinced that he could keep me out of jail problem is my trial is 4 months away..I know I should have used this time wisely but I've had to deal with a lot of shit this year..

    another option I have is moving to a nearby city with a cousin the only problem with that is when im around that side of my family Im weak minded and get myself into trouble..infact everytime I have hung around with that side of that family I got arrested lol..Im not sure if this is a cry for help or me just needing to get this off my chest because I have next to noone to talk too but..fml

    any input?

    tldr; parents divorce, legal issues (time in jail if convitcted), unsure about moving to another province, or moving to a nearby city.

    ps. Im out on bail

    Do you have $5000 to spend on a lawyer?

    In any case, I'd choose to go with your friend, because you look like you can't have more trouble at the moment. A nearby city wouldn't be good anyways, as the people that are 'hunting' you (or something like that?) would still be able to track you. So I'd say definitely move to another province, and if you have the money, buy the lawyer. If you don't, either look for another lawyer or take your punishment. Jail isn't pretty, but it could be worse.

    I have no money for a lawyer but I am entitled to legal aid so I'll probably go down that route..I do have a strong defense so I am confident in my case for the odds of me going to jail I'd say its about 60/40, 60 in my favor but when it comes down to it, its gonna be the judges decision..thanks for the advice
