    Uh..

I agree. Unless there is something shady about the hacking. My understanding of a twc is that it's supposed to be given to people when there is high suspicious of scamming/scamming intentions, but not enough solid proof to ban them.

    Uh..

Well, what I was trying to say is, newer members don't look at the quality but the quantity of vouches. Since most of the "hacked" users are most often trusted, the newer members would be like... "Why would I want to take pictures? They have A LOT of vouches." (they don't know that he/she is hacked at the time). Once they get scammed, they realize that posting a report is useless as they didn't take pictures that they got scammed due to their foolish mistake.

EDIT: I realized my mistake. I was meant to quote the post of you explaining what Hahanerd was trying to say. I believe, your first post.

    Uh..

A TwC means exactly what it stands for: trade with caution. If a user has their MSN hacked repeatedly, and if any scams occur, then it is reasonable to suggest that caution should be used when conducting trades with them. It is not an indication of a scammer or shady nature; merely a reminder that, for some reason or another, to use precaution when trading with this person.

I think it would be nice if there was some way Mods could post on profile on why they received a TWC. A TWC can mean so many different things as far as severity from like this example of someone getting hacked, to where 10 people all claimed to be scammed by the guy but none had enough proof for a full on ban.

A TWC doesn't have to be viewed as such a bad thing, as in some cases it is used as the name states, simply a reminder to be careful trading (which should be used in all trades). It would be nice if users could view the reasoning behind a TWC and decide on there own if they should trade.

    Uh..

An underlying problem in all this is that members with good reputations are using unsafe email accounts. Any public Microsoft Emails (Live, Hotmail, etc) are extremely easy to hack. This is how the majority of users end up being hacked in the first place. There needs to be more awareness that these email accounts are incredibly insecure. Sythe users should be discouraged from using these emails.

The remaining few which are hacked through other means are tougher to prevent, but only make up a small number.

Some people have had their Hushmail/Hush.com accounts hacked as well, which is most likely because of a RAT/Keylogger.
If they get their Hushmail/Hush.com accounts hacked, and don't have a RAT/Keylogger, then something is wrong.

People can find out information about you.
They do do "Forgotten Password?" and fill out the info and possibly get your password.

I'm sure 95% of those go have hush dont pay for it. They can't even check their email after a certain time frame. Hush is just good because you can't hack the WHOLE email; however, hacking the Live Passport side of it is as easy as hacking a straight up Live account.

Why don't people put fake answers and just write them down somewhere? It disables the recovering method for hackers completely.

When I create new msn accounts, or set recoveries on anything of mine, I always use different and fake information, because like you said, it's unrecoverable if they will NEVER find the answers.

    Uh..

    I pay for it.

Also. If you check the email frequently (I believe it's once a month) then the account won't be disabled. That falls on the user to be responsible enough to ensure that the email address they are using to conduct trades stays secure and operable. If they can't do that, then that's just one of many possible steps down the wrong road.

This, I had many people message me on MSN calling me a dumb ass for being hacked on a hush e-mail account. Passport hush is just the same as any other Passport account.

Not completely, you still can get RATTED/Keylogged etc.
When this happens to you, it's just you're own dumb fault, and you should get a ban.
If you do business on Sythe, you should protect you're msn/sythe account as good as possible, not only for yourself, but the whole sythe community.

Also, i agree with 3 times hacked=Ban, this is just too many times, and a danger for the whole community, especially when you're very active.

I noticed that Aroxez had claimed he was hacked, but his JT found out he lied about it to scam.
Can't you check the IP's and if they match, then the msn isnt hacked?
