question!

so this has happened to me a few times now. i have been attacking someone in the wild and all of a sudden they just log out while i am attacking. does anyone know how this is done and could you please share this method with me if known. willing to pay a little.

Never heard of this method, try searching on youtube.

If this is happening a few times its bound to be leaked somewhere.

 

That's called X-logging. They just close down the RuneScape window, same thing with staking bug-abusing.

 

You probably noticed them stop attacking you, they closed their Runescape client.

 

yeah they were not attacking me

 

but how does it log out and why do people not take advantage of this all the time...

for example

i am pking with 20m worth of gear on that i do not want to lose. i want to get away. how would i be able to log out?

 

Once I was going to lost about 20m in the wild so i unplugged my ethernet cable and when i logged back in i was in the same spot in the wild. If you're going to lose it anyways got nothing to lose while trying it lol

 

yeah i tryed pulling me ethernet cord but it does not work

 

pulling out ethernet will dc you from runescape in 60 seconds, If you die before then it doesnt work.

Theres no successful instant-dc so you can keep your items.

 

im pretty sure there is. i attacked a guy and about 4 seconds later he just logged out after his freind said "just log". he logged out while i was hitting him
