Sythe Advertising

I honestly think we dominate much of the RS blackmarket community and the potential community. I honestly think free, in game advertising would work best. If you want to lead a member initiative to pursue such free advertising, I think that would be the most cost-effective way of getting our name out.

Google ads are good, but only if Sythe wants to pay for them.

 

plenty of things we all could do.. make accs on other sites befriend and reference sythe

 

Anybody thought of advertising on the Runescape facebook page?

 

With all the newcomers coming, as well as donators, it also brings scammers. It has pros and cons and I think that we are more of a "word of mouth" site, makes it less consequent of scammers. If we just advertised everywhere there would be a LOT more scammers because people would be flowing in from everywhere but IMO, LEGIT people who bring their friends here are more likely to be legit than a scammer. My Opinion.

 

Currently there is 2-3 times more sellers than buyers, so we need to advertise Sythe.

Every smart seller knows about Sythe, but there are many buyers who are not searching for marketplaces, they should find Sythe, they shoud...

I think an organized movement should be in place for this, tbh.

 

Out of curiosity and if anyone knows, how much is it to run a google ad?

 

The prizes are going down, because there are way more sellers than buyers.
Sythe needs to be advertised ASAP.

Not sure if it's been suggested, or if it's plausible, but has youtube been suggested?

I realise we'd have to pay for this, but I'm sure someone could make up a video that looks professional, and get someone like ChrisArchie etc to host it.
The amount of views this would generate would be amazing, although we'd have to find the right person to do it.

I would be glad to refer people from my clan site if it brings attention to the community. We do minecraft, CSS & Black Ops (at the moment), with development into CSGO, BF3, and possibly MW3.

I was actually planning on purchasing a few minecraft accounts to rent out to my community... If they wanted their own UN after that, I would charge whatever the going rate was for codes +profit (which could be split between Sythe and my community). And they would still be getting a great deal!

 

Support, spamming in rs would be a good idea.

Advertising on these systems would bring more people and would be more professional.

 

I don't think spamming in runescape is a good Idea. Most sites are already taking down their autotalkers because their annoyed about the mass amount of spammers in runescape.so spamming aint a option and will mostly likely bring scammers then bringing buyers and sellers to the community.

 

Google ads is extremely expensive, also the more competetors you have the more you have to pay or you'll be at the end of the list.

And i'm sure you'll have to compete with google ads from gold sellers, bot selling sites etc.
