Question about Bots

Hey there. My friend recently quit Runescape and wants to give me his soulwars bot for free. I'm really tempted to jump on the offer but I heard sharing an auth will make me blacklisted from the RSBots community and also I would be banned from using their bots. Is this true or is this just a scare tactic of theirs? Would they be able to tell I'm running someone else's bot? Have you guys ever done something like this before? All help appreciated.

 

Only the auth will get banned, not you or your friend. But the auth will only get blacklisted if you both use it at the same time or it's used on 3 different IPs.

In short, you have nothing to worry about

No, it only gets banned/disabled if 2 people are using it at the same time with different IP.
