Well, I have started up a discussion with a few people, and everyone I know has had things to share about what they believe, but this is my story.

Well, dabbling on the subject of Reincarnation with a few people; I've
stumbled across a few interesting things.

My opinion on the subject?

Well, Reincarnation is viewed by some people as outrageous of fiction, I
view it as something to look forward to, I personally do NOT believe that
we spend eternity floating around when we die; unless there is something
disturbing our natural spirit; Something that we have to reconcile
ourselves before we can finally be at peace with our previous life. Imagine
spending eternity in heaving or hell (Not that I believe in either, but
this is not the place for that, nor will I care for discussions on that
matter) Do I really think that is what happens when we die? No.

Why I believe this? Well, if you have ever had a dream where YOU were set
in a certain place in time; Time period clothing and attributes and had
noticed that the person had ALL the same characteristics of yourself; Look
into Lucid dreaming, You can go back and spark the dream again, either
continuing and/or finishing it.

I've had these types of dreams, and I do believe I have dreamed about
multiple past lives, It's no coincidence seeing as I've traced my ancestry
back and 90% of my dreams coincide to over 200 years in the past. But
Reincarnation; among with other philosophies are one of the few that I do
avidly believe in, I couldn't exactly place who I was or where I was, but
you do get the feeling that it is you, not just placing yourself in that
time period, but actually knowing the person.

There are possibly many types of Reincarnation; whether it be animal, human
or another form of life.

What is your take on this subject?

Well, if you take a little time out of the day to actually piece together some
different opinions, I have, and they are as followed:

Being an "Angel" or "Devil" in Heaven or Hell is entirely flawed, The main thing
is - Would "God" if there is one, actually want you to spend all of eternity in
one of those two places? Everyone screws up; Nobody is a Patron Saint. You spend
all of eternity drifting and wandering; Waiting for people you've known to die
so you can meet them? That's fucked up.

Also; Wouldn't so-called, "God" want you to actually prosper and learn new life experiences? Thus reincarnation comes into play, You've experienced one thing, Why not experience another? Say I was a lawyer, a stuck up life; But when I die and and I am reincarnated; I'm a homeless person, Living on the streets. Learning the best of both worlds and in the long run, gaining knowledge on everything is possibly the main point of existence itself. We may not remember it but I fully believe that we have a so-called, "Book of Life" where the generation's lessons and flaws are learned and documented for our next life's purpose. We decide whether to follow these or deny them.

In the end, when we've learned everything there is to know; Our book is then
published and archived for the next lost souls to read and learn from, so that
they may be reincarnated into another beautiful soul.

Reincarnation can be a curse or a gift. Stating what one person said; About a Chinese peasant who died at age 5 of a disease; Well taking into account that some people who do not understand or people who look down upon peasants and the homeless - Reincarnation would be the curse of living that life without knowing it, It would be a life experience in your book; Everything is possible, it's just the way you want to see it. I personally believe in it and actually look forward to it, I do know that if it's possible I will not remember any of what I am saying now, but sometimes if the will is there and the want to learn is there, you will be rewarded at the very end.

These are my opinions; This is my life. Do not judge my beliefs as I have not
judged yours.

I'll leave it, since later on throughout the thread someone may present actual scientific proof that will pave the way for a debate. We'll see where this ends up.
