11 year old bass player

His name is Michael Pipoquinha and is from Brazil. He started when he was 10 years old, so he had only been playing a year in this video. Pretty crazy.

 

Really cool! You can hear the limitations in his playing from his short finger length, but I hope he becomes something big in the future.

In fact, I think he'd be better off with a suitably sized double bass.

 

man, I'm jealous lol. I really hope this kid puts out music in the future

I sure hope so. It's hard to even think about how good he'll be when he's older if he's playing that after a year lol.
