I'm open to discuss anything I have posted, but I would just like to ask that you please respect that these are my beliefs. I have noticed statements saying like prove it. Well sorry, but its not something you can do, you simply need faith, and think its an asshole thing to ask even if your not intending it to be one.
We do '
respect' your beliefs. We understand that it's what you feel is the truth, and the chances of changing that are slight.
However, if you read the stickies regarding posting in this section (SFA), you would understand that we are engaging in
intellectual debate here. Simply saying that '
I strongly believe in' something does not even get close to constituting an argument.
Edit: And how is it an 'asshole' thing to make one prove his own assertions? Is that not what the human ability to use logic and reason is based on?
