I dont understand how they got my password. I dont download anything bad. Basically my computer shut itself down and then when i was back on it was hacked
Virus scanner hasnt detected shit

 

same situation with me, everything was fine, never download anything dodgy, generally good security. then within 30 minutes, all three of my accounts are hacked, cleaned and dropped my untradables/dungeoneering items.

fucking disgusting.

 

Meh hopefully i can just sell this account now, I'm not actually that pissed about it as i already lost 400m the other day staking. But now it just makes me want to play alot less. I mean i cba spending the time getting those chaotics back. So to be honest i dont want to play anymore.

O.T: One of my accounts got hacked and no-one in real life knew i used it. Never botted. Never shared any information then just all of a sudden got hacked.

 

Damn, that sucks. I hope the IP search turns up a result. I highly doubt you would have a virus on a mac. It's not like it's impossible to get one but most people just cbf making one for a mac when most RS users probably use Windows + it's just easier.

Man, I know a few friends of mine who recover accounts and shit and they still have respect for what the guys have earned, untradables/dung/fire capes. Never drop those, and if they bot just teach them a lesson. Eh, people are fucking idiots these days.

i don't think its rsbots dude they are pretty reliable, maybe you oppened a Java drive-by without knowing or you downloaded some shit, sometimes it happens :/ run a virus scan with malwarebytes

 

A few things could of happened:

You could of gone on teamviewer with someone and they could of put a virus on your mac

You may of downloaded that auth code generator that Mog Time has been posting on youtube (i know it sounds stupid but people have done it).

One of your friends could of done a random recovery as they probably know a lot about you, pissed anyone off lately?

You could of gone on someones 'livestream' and when it asked you to run java you got a virus (see a lot of this lately)

It could just be a random file on your computer that you downloaded recently.

 

Guys, chances are you have a RAT. Lots of them pass through most virus scanners and you wouldn't ever know your RAT'd. Basically once they got in your computer they either just watched or keylogged you which led to them hacking you. Also he fact that once your transferred the money over was when you were hacked shows that they probably were watching you for a while before hacking you. Just be very very very careful who you accept files from. Even a picture that looks perfectly fine could be a RAT.

Stay calm, this has happened to me before, my Main and my Zerk got 'hijacked', got em back.

Runescape are having Server issues, I've had 3 emails saying my main has been banned for RWT, it hasn't, they sent me another 3 minutes ago saying they're having server issues, and they apologise, this could have something to do with it.

A tip, for you, don't logout without banking your stuff.
