What's your opinion on the sudden spike?

 

It shouldn't be able to hold.

People just got excited because there's no such thing as street price anymore.

they will probably rise unless there is some jarring change to scare merchants again, we will see...

 

Yeah.. kinda nervous.
Recently doubled my cash and got a yellow. Downgraded to a purple. Not sure I mean, they'll always go up but hmm.

 

if anything they will go back up eventually, just nobody can determine when or how much

 

They will obviously keep going up as time goes on, but I'm not sure why the sudden spike is.

 

Rares have never been stable. Hope they drop below 100m...

Phats have risen due the the high amount of players buying gp than buying phats also since phats can now be bought for pure cash, people feel more comfortable buying one. Soon people will begin to lose intrest in them, as they become spectical in their item knowing it has to crash at some point, as stated above long term rares go up, but short-term it's risky business.

 

It will be unsteady for a while. Then people once people get used to free trade and staking it should settle out. It's just going like crazy now because of merchanters selling their long held stock and people winning tons at staking and paying a crazy price to get a phat.

 

Wait a month or two and you will see h'ween masks back to 30m, santa hats back to 20m and blue phat back to 400m ;]

 

No. A blue phat was always paid with 2b of junk. Now that the limit is gone people are using pure gp to pay for their true price.

They will keep going up until they reach their true price.. which is blue 1.5b and i forgot the rest lol
