48 def (woops much)
90 96 with 96 hp (pced that)
yknow i kinda wish i stayed 1 def
cuz it would be so leet
but the perks are incredible
barrows gloves, torso , rune def
worth it. so .. your choice
1 or 45 isnt the only choice though

I am not sure about in BH because no1 would want to risk there firecape or fighters torso (used to be the things that made them better, with barrows gloves, but yer) so i think now it is 1 def pures...

 

Rune pures own 1 def, although i like 1 def better.

well to me pures are pretty much useless unless your really good under 67 for low lvl crator or maxed under 112. so id basically just say rune pure ftw!!

 

1 def pure for a while...when you get bored get def up.

 

when ur at lvl 60-80cb stay 1 def
and then when u reach 90 and up go for 40 def
getting 40 def exp wont contribute much on lvling ur cb if thats ur concern (THEORY LOL)

i do have a rune pure wayback in wildy i usually owned
1 def pures w/ armour on

but in BH 1 def is good since most of the players there r naked lol
even if u do bring good armour its still useless coz u only attract more pkers to kill u

 

Ok, 1 def pures are over rated. Yes, blah blah lower combat.

Rune pures however are insanely awesome. You get the best strength bonuses possible in the game. My pure was a 60 83 1, all I got were dds's, 2 dose prayer pots, and maybe a rune x-bow. Then I got tired of ini pures rick rocking me. So I went 70 87 20. God now that was fun... Owned 1 def pures non stop, but I was still getting the same loot plus rune legs, and the occasional Torags Helm. Then i made the leap. 82 93 45 maxed out str bonuses. Guess what... I was smiting 2-3 whips a day + Zerker rings. The loots better. The pk's were more exciting. Not knowing whether I was going to hit a 0-0 spec or a 34-34 spec. Or hit those nice little 37's with my whip. Or hit a 37, and be on the wrong side of a veng.

I mean yeah with 1 def pure I know Im going to hit those 20-20+ specs all day. No challenge. I blitz, run in, d scimmy to 1/4 hp and spec like crazy.

Now Im at 82 99 70... Before the wildy was destroyed I was pking DH's -the plate, Whips, Zerkers, Ahrims, Verac Skirts, and even 4 furies.

Rune pure has the advantage over anything 80-103 combat.

 

It all depends on the cb lvl.... Rune pure with maxed ouut equip at lvl 80+ owns pure with maxed out equip any day.

 

Stay with 1 defence, and stay as low defence as possible, since your a member, try stay under combat 68, once you become higher then that, i advise you get 45-70 defence to defend your self from the 100s+
