CSGO Betting

I know there's a lot of CSGO betting websites. They offer blackjack, coin flips, raffle, etc.

I haven't seen any CSGO poker websites and was wondering if there was any - just little exposure.

Essentially the idea is like tokenbets; you deposit skins and in return get tokens. These tokens can play different type of poker. The money is made through a 5% rake. The skins that are deposited can be bought back with equal number of tokens that it was sold for.

Thoughts?

 

5% rake seems pretty steep since I know sites that take anywhere from 0.5-3% of each bet/pot/raffle.


I suppose it could work but things you have to consider:

-I believe there are laws prohibiting actual casino games to be used for cs;go stuff, I'm running off memory but I think at one point Bogla or one of his workers said something to me about why they don't accept skins @ tokenbets.


I also think theres several potential issues to consider such as:
-What happens if the bot taking ur skins gets banned/trade banned
-What happens if a better gets banned/trade banned
-What happens if the script malfunctions
-What happens if a ddos attack or something similar causes potential script issues/delays(this does happen, if somebody can ddos ur site after someone bet big and everyone snipes it etc etc).
-What type of licenses or other legalitys do you need to host this
-Who would you hire to manage/run this
-Where would you sell the skins to you got.
-Would it only be poker or other card games?


Just some potential off my head ideas I thought of, some may be incorrect but meh.

 

5% rake is pretty steep, maybe 1-3% based on size. About legal issues - this is correct it is illegal within the United States. Maybe with a Canadian host it could prevail.

-The bots shouldn't be trade banned. The gambling and trade of skins is actually encouraged. As for the bettor, that's their fault and it will be stated in ToS.
-A lot of websites bots have malfunctioned before and the support team cleared up the issues. As for the code within the website and the bot - I can't comment on this.
-If a DDoS attack occurs, we wait for it to blow over, reset the bots, and continue business as usual.
-People you've made with connections of course could be paid to run this!
-All forms of poker, maybe some other card games.

Could sell the skins on the website with different payment methods, including tokens

As for license and legalities - not quite sure. These are just thoughts, I was hoping to get some input from someone with experience in running a gambling website.

Yeah. it's extremely active. Yes, there can be a better one, it has a very low effort interface ( https://gyazo.com/cea63cec96438f4540b152f1682ce6a6 ). I haven't idled long enough on the website to see if there's any any type of community interaction by the admins etc, so I can't attest to that.

I was thinking of starting one at one point, but it's a lot of effort because you need players to get players. Also have to offer clear incentive for people to use your site, and csgopoker seems like it has reasonable rake and a good reputation/url. Opted to work on some other things that will be released soon.
