Lucid Dreaming

I hate lucid dreams. I have them like once every 2 years. The last one i got was when I watched someone get shot in the head on live television. It was a lucid nightmare. For some reason, I was in favela somewhere, ( very similar, if not the same to the map favela on MW2) and I was playing soccer with some local kids, then I was like "oh hey, let's go swimming, thats a brilliant idea!" the local kids agreed. We went swimming for a really long time but then, i felt something. Something slimy. It wrapped itself around my ankle and started pulling me down. I keeped struggling, I couldn't breathe. It took me deeper and deeper into the water. Then after what felt like an hour of descending into the water, we finally reached the bottom of the ocean. As I saw the bottom of the ocean, i noticed the ocean floor started to open. I was forced inside a cramped ridge ocean floor. I struggled to get out, but I was stuck. unfortunately, the ridge started crack. Once it had fully cracked, I had a falling sensation. A sensation which I assume would kinda be like skydiving, but then again, i've never skydived before so that could just be my imagination. Anyway, I was falling down this ridge. and as I kepted falling, I heard a very evil, scary, voice shout "Welcome to the dark pits of hell!" followed by laughter. At this point I was so scared, and so rattled that it forced myself to wake up. I got out of my bed, and searched for a glass of water. But was soon as I stepped out of bed, the floor opened beneath my feet and I was, yet again, falling. This time, the voice said "thought you could escape?"

I woke up, yet again, but this time it was legit. Technically, I had a lucid night mareabout having a lucid nightmare.

btw - In lucid dreams, Or maybe just mine atleast, you have fucking feelings, emotions and shit. If you are in the middle of desert with no water, you will feel hot as shit and the feeling of your mouth being dry as tits. Similarly, if you fall down on your knee, it will feel like it hurt like tits.

Might just be me.

In conclusion (or TL;DR ((fuck you btw for not taking 1 min to read my story))) Fuck lucid dreams, and by extention, fuck lucid nightmares.

 

I read it all Also, I read this on 9GAG. I've had dreams where I've tried waking myself up and had thoughts etc. but I've never forced it to happen. Thanks for sharing

Lucid dreams are shit scary. All I remember about the only one I ever had is that there was some guy in a black suit and I was trying to get towards a door. I pushed him out of the way but couldn't get the door open. Then I woke up ._.

 

I think I've had a few here and there also.

 

I used to have lucid dreams all the time and I LOVED every single one of them. They only happened when I was a kid, and since I was still at that age I was in love with DBZ. So every night when I had a lucid dream the first thing I would do is go SSJ. Eventually I had them so often that I could control almost every aspect of them.

Unfortunately after a while they just stopped, and I still have not had one in years

P.S. that picture shows astral projecting which is different from lucid dreaming

 

I've only ever had one lucid dream, and I wasted it by walking on walls, flying around, and talking to people from school who I could have talked to while awake anyway

That's not a lucid dream. Lucid refers to being conscious during the dream (realizing it's a dream) thus granting you full control of your dream world, so you can do whatever you want. Bounds of reality don't apply.

 

EG Unlimited sex w/ everybody

 

I am not sure but isn't Lucid dream same as Astral dream (or something like that) ? I have personally experienced it, The Astral dream begins when you are awake and feel how you fall into a sleep, moments later you see yourself in your bed along side with demons and other scary things I allso felt how my soul separated from my body, moved a metter away, touched the floor and returned to my body in the same position I was sleeping, scarry feeling came afterwards :S

 

I tried it I got up turned my laptop on and went on sythe and was dreaming on sythe while being on sythe, its legit.

 

I've never had a lucid dream. I just REM sleep every night, like you all do.
