So i've noticed many people ask for help about their relationships, I figure I have a lot of experience in this department? Why not spread the knowledge to save others.

It's a kind gesture, but I think the whole card thing is a bad idea. People seek advice hoping to get the truth(at least I would.) It seems like you'd be sugarcoating a lot.

 

Nah no sugarcoating, just thought the picture fits =P
People won't learn if sugarcoat things.

 

The font and the colouring is terrible :/
It's also stupid having a warning sign on a help thread. People come to Personal Support to seek advice. If I had relationship problems I personally wouldn't come to the guy with the flashy images in his thread, I'd rather go to someone who provides honest advice.

 

I wouldn't go so far to call it stupid but I agree with saying that a thread dedicated to all relationship advice is weird. Every situation is different its in own and I feel like it would be easier for someone to open up and explain the situation is more detail through the use of there own thread. However don't get me wrong this is a very kind gesture.

 

I actually find this quite insulting, you provide NO back ground info, and you're ultimately assuming that you're so knowledgeable about relationships that you can help everyone with each individual situation. Having relationship experience provides no grounds to give advice, because they were your own, personal relationships. Added to that, the thread is business - like, in the layout. This won't get any good reviews, just help people when they ask for it instead of offering a 'service' they'll choose whether or not to take your advice. Predominantly offering people 'news' is also very, very touchy and should not be disclosed in such a way.

 

I feel it necessary to say that I'm sorry for all the negative feedback you're getting. Its just that even though your intentions may have been good/true, the presentation of your idea had something off about it. Don't let this hinder any advice you give others users on these boards just take in that the way you present ideas like this is important.
