The truth about paypal donations

Eh, anything you do over paypal can be recovered. You can usually call them, however, and explain to them whats going on and they will understand it. I got my account limited a couple times because of the mass flow of money through it (on a personal account thats kinda fishy). I called them and they sorted it all out within 5 minutes.

 

To the people saying we may as well bring RSGP donations back is dumb. The only person Sythe would even consider to do that at this time would be R2Pleasent, as he has a good method and is beyond trusted, but he simply doesn't have the time. He runs the biggest GP shop / irl, so stop mentioning GP.

Again, I'm fully with you, TJ. I'd love to see PayPal donations, and I'm perfectly fine with you managing it.(I know this thread isn't about you doing it, just saying.)

Not yet, maybe not ever. But hopefully we can shine some light on this and get it approved. Highly doubtable, but possible i suppose.

 

I agree with and support this. A two month delay would almost ensure the money wouldn't get taken back but I think one month is a bit less drastic, and in turn more reasonable. Those who scam on this site will probably not wait that long whereas those who don't scam and want to donate to help Sythe/get the donation perks will be more willing to wait. Another problem is finding someone who would be willing to keep track of all of this. That's probably the hardest part. Good ideas nevertheless.

I do not reccomend this option without phone verification,verified paypal,and a 45 day delay. In my recent selling history 60 percent of my payments taken through paypal as a gift were charged back as unathorized and even when i sent paypal all the info i had and pictures it didnt work and by the time the phone verification etc is implented no one would be intrested in even using paypal. And btw all of the payments that were charged back were over 50 dollars and it was more than 10 orders.

 

That is your fault. I did paypal donations for 2-3 months and raked in 300 or more, and got charged back once. I never sent the money out yet, and it was a small amount. The person was banned and that was that.

 

The good news is that i will be opening up something for paypal donations tomorrow sometime. With the following said, it is possible. It will not be sponsored by sythe or anyone on the site besides me, but that is fine. It is official in no way. If you get scammed by me, then its my fault not the sites. If you scam me, you will be perma banned for good. Even if you try to repay me. I am not going to mess around with this. There will be strict guidelines to follow to donate. You may not find it fair, but i honestly do not care. You can either donate by me (via paypal) or you can send it in yourself. I will honestly tell anyone that wants to know how to do a paypal donation by themselves if they do not trust me. Oh, and there will be a higher fee than last time. I am going somewhere in the direction of 3-4$ flat rate, not based on the amount you are donating. If you don't like the price, then that sucks. I will not tolerate spam or attempted scammers.

I will be posting a link when i finish it all. I am busy all weekend, so ill try to get around to it.
