How should I go about taking legal action?

I was scammed by a user and now wish to pursue legal action.

If it's within the US you'll need their full name and address, then you can file a claim in small claims court, but you must be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt you were scammed for something worth real life value, otherwise your case will be thrown out.

 

Will be tricky due to the whole controversial business of dealing with virtual goods which are essentially the property of Jagex and seeing as you were scammed during breaking their terms of service/rules which means your odds of actually accomplishing something with this are low. But anyway good luck man and keep us informed on what you decide, it would be interesting to see if you are successful and which steps you took.
