This is pretty ignorant. Birth control via the pill has a less than 8% failure rate. If it can be proven that: 1) she had not ingested birth control during the period 2) actively told OP she was then there is a possible case. The OP took it on good will that his GF was taking the protective measures to prevent this and he had expressed that he didn't want kids. The fact is that she does have you by the balls if you don't do anything, but just consult an attorney. Hell, it's an interesting case you might get it pro bono.

I'm the dad of a 2yr old boy, and honestly it's the best feeling in the world man. Seeing him learn things everyday, he starts asking you for answers, wants to do the same things as you. It's not near as bad as I would have ever thought. I love our little one.

It's either she's desperate to have a child but she needs you too now because you are the father of the baby, if you abort it, you'll later regret it trust me. My brother who is 18 years older than me was supposed to have their first baby when he was 19 but he said he can't take all the responsibilities yet so they aborted the child and he later regret that he wish they shouldn't have just aborted the child.

EDIT: Just saw your post where you said she genuinely just wanted a baby that's why she did that, that's not the kind of person that you want to stay with forever but of course support the child for its own sake and be a good Dad to it. It's your responsibility too because you didn't worn a protection in the first place too, like what Roary said, not everything is 100% effective, there are chances that you can still get a girl preggy with condom on but it's very less likely to happen like 0.5% chance.

 

Sure, she lied, she's a bitch for that. But too many guys don't inconvenience themselves by protecting themselves but expect their women to. If he'd wrapped it, her bitch move would've been negated.

Can't just blame someone when you had your own chance to stop it. Yeah, she's the bad one, doesn't mean all blame is shifted to her. If you don't want a baby, don't have sex - even the pill isn't 100%.

 

This is some of the most dangerous reasoning around, stop victim blaming. He was under a false assumption that she was on birth control because she told him she was. She deceived him in order to have a higher chance of conceiving a child.

You should still stay with her because it's your kid. Even though she lied to you, it does not mean you should break up with her. Two wrong's do not make a right. Maybe you should talk to her about it and make a plan for the future.
