The proof for my ban is baseless

Govind told me I was banned for a post I made on bugabuse.net. Now I will explain why it is bullshit first then delve deeper.


Here is the apparent proof.

I did make that post however I did not edit the second part in. The second part was edited in by Toil who is an admin of that site I think. Look at the times, he posts at 234 and the edit is 2 minutes later. I do not reply for half an hour. It doesn't make sense for me to edit my thread saying I'm a hacker then waiting 30 minutes to reply. Its not even my style of writing.

I don't care that it says edited by marrow, I'm sure the admin can edit without leaving his name on vb.

 

It is indeed possible to fake an edit (including the editor's name) via manually editing the DB. I can do it here too. Not saying anything other than it's possible.

 

i want to clarify that im not certain toil edited it in, i just dont have any recollection of posting it. the timing makes me think he did it, all i remember is that i replied to toil as soon as i saw it.

even if i did post it its quite clear i wasnt serious, and its just another case of staff looking for any reason to ban me.

ive got more id like to say but im on my phone. ill divulge more later when im on a computer

 

For what it's worth, while I can't say much about Marrow's character, I wouldn't support a ban for offsite trolling here.

 

After talking to Toil about it, he told me he logged onto your account and edited the post.

 

I edited the random nonsense and unb4nn3d being this and n4n0 being that. Keep this as a normal dispute, there's no need to troll and start a fuss.

On that note, I think he should be unbanned due to the recent information that we've received.
