I would give out his phone number on some forums or something and make people prank call him all day long.

 

You know him in real life and he is your friend? He may have just been playing around, still go and see him when you can and ask for it back, you never know he may only have been joking.

 

Honestly, this. 16m isn't a lot of money. When did he take it? If it was just a day or two ago he's probably gonna give it back sometime.

 

Ask him to give it back? If you know him in real life it shouldn't be that big of a problem, or just go buy more gold .

But I signed his email/facebook/cell phone to every ad I could find. Using his name/address.

I found the dumbass on facebook after he gave me his cell/full name. Got his address. Kids no smart.

I don't know IRL he was a old clan member. he was complaining about not having money, and he has helped me transfer over 60m to my pure once (which i don't understand why he would of scammed 16m...) its not even about the money. i thought we were really good friends. i SMS bomb'ed his phone... 1000 Text a minute. Lmfao.

Dude... did this kid know the password to your account by any chance and therefore logged in to your account and took it??

The reason I ask is because I met this kid on RS a few days ago and we added each other. Shortly after he PM'd me asking me advice on a question. He wanted to know if he should steal his friends 16M which was sitting in his bank on his account, as he somehow had is password or said his buddy trusted him to go on his account or something like that.

Of course I got very angry with him and he promised that he wasn't going to do it. I haven't really talked to him since then though, and I can't help but somehow think that maybe this is the same kid we are talking about. It could be a total coincidence, but 16M isn't a lot of cash and I find it weird that it was the EXACT amount that he said he was going to scam. He also thought it would not be a big deal because his friend "sometimes buys RS gold" and so he could easily get it back. You are posting this on Sythe.org, a site where people buy/sell gold, which is making me think even more that your the fucking kid he was talking about!!

Please tell me this is just a giant coincidence. I have his RSN and so if you can tell me what it was I will know for sure.

EDIT: I forgot to add that he was very unclear about whether he knew the kid in real life or not. At first he said he didn't, and then he said he did, "sort of". Even though you don't know the guy who scammed you in real life, you said you have his phone number, which means you must SORT of know each other in some way or have talked via phone, texting, Skype or whatever. This is fucking trippy dude I am like convinced you are the kid he scammed!

Yes! I did in fact post this exact same story on the "Friends vs. Pixels" thread that I created awhile ago, as I was absolutely disgusted that this random stranger would ask me that right after we added each other. The amount of scamming and backstabbing going on ingame nowadays is despicable.. he asked the wrong guy lol.

But yeah... the similarities in the OP's claims and what the alleged "scammer" told me ingame are just too eerily alike to be a coincidence. I am almost 100% convinced that this kid I met ingame is the one who scammed Izzy.

Small world huh I PM'd Izzy just purely out of curiosity and I hope he reads this, as he is the one who can confirm the dudes last 2 names and then we can know for sure whether he did it or not.
