I thought this was quite hilarious, so I thought to share this with you fine people. Four years ago me and this girl start dating. Out of four years of dating someone you know just about everything there is to know about another person. About two weeks ago ole girl comes home smelling like she poured her perfume out on her. I let this go for awhile, and then decided to insert myself in the situation.

We talked, and after the fact she told me she thought I would like the stronger smell on her. I told her she did not need to hide the fact that she smoked, but she still denied it. While she was out at the market today I came home from work early. Little did she know that I knew where she kept the cigarettes, that she did not smoke. She had just bought a new carton of smokes, and what I did was "asinine." Long story short our bonfire smelled like one huge smoke room.

Edit: She is now off cigarettes, so mission successful.

Anyways, back on topic... I am a daily smoker, and I would find that an incredibly hard habit to hide from somebody, let alone your partner of 4 years. I wouldn't be overly worried at this point but I would have a talk with your girlfriend and let her know that you are slightly alarmed that she would hide something like that from you. Like many others above me have said, if she can hide a ciggarette habit, what else can she hide from you?

 

She only started smoking about 2 weeks ago. That is why she bathed in perfume, which is why I started pondering things in my mind.
