Hey this is pretty sweet (dug)

 

Not AMAZING but definitely catchy. All I know is I should be going to bed, but something is keeping me up and listening to this song until it's over.

 

Sounds fine to me. I couldn't bother listening to the original so I can't really say if it stays faithful to it, but by itself it's fine.

What did you use to make this? I've been messing around with Famitracker but I've been unable to produce every sound I'd want. I probably just need more practice, but if there's a better program I might as well swap to it before I get used to this.

@Jei Jei - When I first posted this and the video it was called "8Bit Cover" but then I changed it to "16Bit Cover" on the video after going back and realizing some of the sounds weren't completely 8Bit. Used QuadraSID and SIDizer for this one -- definitely check 'em out. SIDizer is the one that I found out uses 16Bit and higher if you don't change the bitcrusher on it, I think QuadraSID can only do 8Bit

 

It doesn't sound truthfully 16bit. Catchy, none the less.
