RWT Ban- Discuss

I just found this when checking one of my accounts today.

Oddly enough, I have never goldfarmed on this account and was just getting ready to add it to my bot force. In fact, the reason I was logging on was to add members to it. Oh well, $6 less for Jagex I guess.

Luckily, this account just had iron armor and about 700k.


Anyone else experiencing bans like this? What do you all think about this?

 

I havent got anything. I will check my goldfarming accounts that I ran 24/7 at LRC for a good month to see if any of them got hit. Some of them even hit 99 minning and 14m exp.

 

Happened to me acouple months back, but they chain banned all my accounts

 

This is intriguing, to see that JaGex are actually carrying out their claims is almost shocking - in a way.

You said to add to you force has the nuke not stopped you? Using scar?

 

Were the chain bans instant? Or should I be panic selling the gold off the rest of my accounts?

The nuke has not stopped me with my own bots, although, this account was using idung prior to the nuke.

 

If any account deserves to be banned it is the one I use for all of my trading, probably done 5000-10000 trades on it and moved nearly 3 trillion gp through it. Yet, still no repercussion from Jagex in the form of a ban.

HOWEVER, my account's wealth was reset a few weeks ago for ~ 24B. R2pleasant suffered a similar reset for ~17B.

 

Wow that blows. I've moved about 30-40b through my main gold trading account, and that has been untouched.

The account that was banned never actually bought or sold any gold, which is what I found particularly odd.

 

Guess they are taking more notice to people's activities - I assume it only happened because you have a bot farm.

 

What does it show when you click the evidence?


Edit: Viou, City and I were actually talking about you being unbanned a while back in rs We both thought it was strange.

 

I am curious and would like to see the evidence report, if they included that. This is one of the very few RWT bans I have ever actually seen

 

This right here is making me so sketchy about botting again after RSBuddy comes back..

 

STRONGLY doubt you would get this for botting in general - Pockets is a little more 'high profile' than a normal bot user.

Yeah you're right. I haven't been running a ton of accounts recently though, just 4-6 at the most, because I sold 6 of them recently.

 

Did it trade with one of your mules who stand in the middle of your network?
I saw somewhere that jagex posted they 'follow the money'.

 

I know that a friend of mine who I used to summon stake with (he has SOLD waaay more RSGP on this site that I have) got banned for RWT too.
I'm sure h1q2j3 can confirm this if you ask him (he should know who i'm talking about).

 

No, this account hadn't traded with any of my others for months. It was a separate account I was working on.

 

Jagex does do this, but have not seen them do this many times (unlike games like WoW where they do, or at least used to do, it like crazy). Last time I saw a 'chain ban' was when Chessy got hacked.

 

appeal it. latley i have been geting emails from my accounts saying i got an infraction, but really its a fuck up from fagex, there is a offence but its usually crossed out, and expired. could be the same thing as to seen evedence. if it wont show appeal and say you demand the evidence if there is truly been a infraction.
