World 22 Muted

Just happened, Jagex taking more measures?

If it's against auto typers, I'm all for it Although, they really shouldn't mute the WHOLE world...there are still some legit players on it...


Any particular reason why they muted the world?

 

Wow. Is this the 2nd 3rd world muted? And if you hop can you talk?

 

How they cant just mute the whole world? What's the point?

 

There was a thread just like this the other day, except it was W148 muted. Somebody even linked to a video on Youtube showing everyone at Daemonheim attempting to communicate via QuickChat.

 

Yep, hopped to 22 and could talk.

As with world148, everyone communicated with quick chat.

 

That's crazy. Did the mute the WORLD, or ALL of the PEOPLE in the world.

Is there mass spammers in that world or something?

Auto - Typers probs there trying to get them muted.

 

There's bound to be a few flaws in their new system. Give them some time they'll fix all their mistakes and make it useful

 

I meant world 54, it's the staking world.

 

Auto-typer's lurk in f2p worlds just to advertise, so it could be Fagex taking another precaution on macroing.

 

I think when this new spam system is finally implemented with all the bugs fixed and without any problems, it is going to be a very useful update No matter how much you like to bot, I don't really know anybody that actually likes the auto typers... they are so fucking annoying, and are usually just spamming chinese gold sites or phishing websites. I fully support their removal.

 

Usually it's just for swearing and cussing off at people cause they lost, or shit.

 

wonder if the spammers will ever try something like they did on wow where they made words using characters to show each letter of the url

 

Muting an entire world? Bit extreme, they must really want this award.

 

From my assumption, they've muted the world because of the mass amount of people using Auto-Typers at the Arena, seeing as its the staking world.

However, that's completely unreasonable. I dont know how they expect people to see your stake, if other people are going to cover it up in a fraction of a second. Believe auto-typers shouldn't be used only in the case of advertising, if your just trying to get a dung group, or find someone to stake with, i really dont see the problem..

But auto typers deserve it i'd say.
