Is "hacking" possible on Runescape?

Various other games have ways of exploiting games via packet editing, and memory hacking, such as Maplestory, Wonderking, and in some cases, WoW. I was wondering why this isn't the case on Runescape. Is it because of it's programming structure, or is it because no one has the motivation to do so?

The only cheating rampant in general on Runescape that I know of is botting, scamming, among other various cheating activities, but not "hacking."

Runescape is 100% server based and only a copy of it is visualised in your browser (or bot).

The only thing you send to jagex is keystrokes & mouse coordinates.

Its possible to change values by editing your memory, but this will not change the ACTUAL values saved on the rs server.

 

I'd disagree and say yes but people who hack that well aren't going to be hacking video games especially a game like rs

 

Nope, it can't be done unless you hack directly into Jagex servers, but good luck doing that. Any changes you make would be noticed anyway.

No, you can't hack RuneScape as far as I know.
