How do you guys see Canada?

In all honesty...
I picture Canadians as outdoor folk, who live in relatively cold weather and log cabins. Your houses are situated in forests and fields - in the morning you wake up to your wives cooking pancakes lathered in maple syrup, and then after mopping it all up with your rough full-faced beard you spend the day cutting down trees while wielding a large axe.

Oh, and Ice Hockey. Lots of Ice Hockey.

 

The only war Canada won was the one against America a few hundred years ago. Can't blame them for not being in any recent wars since they're French.

 

I live in a mining town in Canada, and its a pretty sketchy place, alot of meth heads.

But I like Canada as a country.

 

I live about 2 hours from Canada (in newyork) and i visit there all the time. TBH most canadians are level headed, easy going, and carefree. I enjoy being around them.

 

1 province out of 13 is French .

 

You talk weird. You ride horses wearing red get ups. It snows a lot.......... Anyways. I don't ever really think about it. I'm very close to Canada and should visit someday but unless that happens, I really got nothing.

I'm assuming he's referring to how many immigrants and refugees live there. I read somewhere that the population of Toronto is around 50% minorities.

I'm from western Canada, and I view the east as being all cool except Quebec, and that seems to be where all the assholes are located.

 

Meaning they are from other Countries. Most of Toronto are asian people.
A percentage of them were born in Canada, but the majority of the population in Toronto weren't born in Canada.

 

Canada seemed pretty chill, been once.

there are so much prejudices i can see in this thread its unbelievable... people talking about igloos and mounted police if you really think Canada is really JUST about that you guys are missing it big time

 

I like Canada tbh. First thing that comes to mind is universal healthcare.

 

When I think of Canada, I think of the movie Canadian Bacon and I also think of it as the birthplace of that one guy from Ghost Busters.

Although I dislike some of the stereotypical speech patterns of Canadians, other than that I have no negative opinion towards them. Except maybe the French part of Canada.

You're ignorant, and I'll bet slightly retarded. Read up on some Canadian war history, we kicked ass in both World War I and World War II; without us, there's a good chance the allies would have lost both wars. We played key roles in big battles like DDay and Vimy Ridge, so show some respect asshole.

We've also been at the side of the United States through each of their dumb power trips, except for Iraq since we all know that was for fossil fuels.

Get your facts straight before you go talking shit about other countries.

I have a lot of friends from Canada and I've been there several times before. I view it like a more peaceful and more beautiful America.

To be honest i saw a youtube vid when i was like 13 called "Americans vs Canadians" It was a funny video and now everytime i think of canadians i think of this. Only been to canada once, and it was niagara falls so i really can't say i know too much about canadians.

 

Canada is almost the same as america, we all go to malls and shit you wouldn't know the difference if you woke up in a strange canadian difference city and a strange american city. Maybe apart from the flag and no southerner accent
