Dicing Entire Bank [Idea to Quit^^]

Hello Sythe Members,

Okay so, basically I was thinking to myself last night that I've been playing this game since 2003. I've obviously been on and off over the years, but currently I'm very much 'on' and I've been a bit irritated by it. As we all know, whether it's your bot farm or leveling up your main, it's very hard to quit.

This is when I had a paradigm shift; my one goal ever since starting this bloody game was to own a party hat of any color. Since the day blues were 1.2m I've been aspiring towards it. Now I've never actually been particularly close, which is rather sad, but I've only ever used legit playing methods to make cash. I've sold and bought gold but this was on the side and never contributed to the actual in game wealth.

tl;dr

Currently I'm sitting at:

• 3x Santa Hats = 3 * 145m = 435m
• 1x Red Mask = 1 * ~240m = ~240m (currently fluctuating)
• 2x Almost maxed melee/potential stakers/farmers = 2*50m = 100m
• 1x Maxed melee (lvl 124) main dating back to '03 with around 1600 total = ??

Total: ~950m give or take (aiming for 1b at the end)

Plan is:

1. Sell Accounts
2. Sell Rares
3. Go to dragondyce and 6x2

Any dragondyce host that would like to take this 1b pot, let me know, I would prefer if it were someone from Sythe getting the profits.

Possible Outcomes

• Either I'm going to lose, in which case I'll laugh it off and have no wealth to continue on the game
• or, I would have doubled my bank - have enough to buy the party hat and then giving whatever left over wealth I have to randoms in f2p. I'll enjoy the little blob of pixels for a month or so, then sell it off.

This was just my plan to get off this godforsaken game once and for all so I can focus on more important things in life.

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

PM me and I'll teach you some strategies to turn 1b into 2b pretty quickly dicing. Betting it all at once isn't worth it.
Edit: I know you're quitting but if you do my plan you can at least cash out with some mad cash irl.

 

While I am going to speak to puzzle about this, I'm still going to look at cashing out once I hit a phat (IF).

 

I think it's a silly idea when you could sell the 1b for around $5-600, then enjoy the money over risking it for pixels

 

Dont be dumb, sell the GP for rl cash, throw a huge party and you'll forget rs

No sense of adventure, but I am considering a more strategic attack.

I would just rather lose it all in one go than slowly.

I suggest selling it to someone trusted, $400-450 is a lot of money to be throwing down the drain like that.

Thanks Snow, I was actually looking for a list like this as they really don't give an indication of who hosts. Is plznate still hosting for them even after the ban?

Haha exactly, but at least you're quite likely to stick to your decision based on the outcome then, rather than just coming back after a few weeks.

 

Dicing or staking your bank away has been done so many times before and from what I heard it's a stupid move. People think that they can just quit if they loose everything, but it just makes them want to get it back. I promise you there is a very low chance of you actually being able to walk away from rs after that.

I agree with you; however, the last time that I quit (for over 5 years) I was scammed over a single santa which was enough to put me off the game. I also know it's for my own benefit, so it's really going to land up with me quitting one way or another.

Dunno why you would want to dice your cash stack away, you could aim for a purple and if you get that, work your way up to a blue.

 

Good luck, a lot of my friends have done this and it turned out well for them Although a few did it, lost, and then became beggars instead of quitting

I was also thinking of using N4N0, he seems like a really legit guy especially after the whole ban incident - coming clean over such a small deal - quite admirable.

Like I said I highly doubt I'll come back if I lose everything, I'll at least move onto WoW again or something with better graphics.

 

To be honest I'd just sell it all for $350-$400. Why risk it?
