The 50,000 dollar challenge.

You're awarded 50,000 dollars and you have to buy ONE single item. No paying off debts, giving the money away, any of that jazzyness. I will compile a list of the items based on category.

It does not matter how much of the 50,000 you spend, it's not a competition.
Also, if you can be bothered, add your reasoning (in depth, preferably). All submissions are appreciated.

I'll start;

I would buy an Audi TT Coupe, 2012, approx. $44,000. I love cars and I think it's a great looking car with a reliable history that's easily used as a daily driver.

 

The sickest Custom AdiZero F50s ever, Crome with gold swooshes and my name on the side =P And a date with Alex Morgan =D

 

I would save it for college/university.

 

Dodge 3500 mega cab w/ duallies. black on black. and a sick sound system. dreamy <3..

 

No doubt a 1969 Camaro SS but I could run a 69 Sting Ray.

 

I'de buy the single most best computer known to man on earth

 

I'd buy a Bentley, no specific make, just a Bentley

 

1971 Mustang Fastback, all the way.

 

Yeah, I'd probably buy a nice Lexus/Jaguar, $50k on a single item can't really get you much more than that...

 

I'd buy a 2004 Mustang Cobra - 30k or so

 

I personally think cars are a horrible choice, because after 10 years, your car is probably toast. I don't know if the money is taken away after you buy that one item, but that money doesn't go towards tuning it up. So unless you're going to buy it and ogle it, it's not worth it.

I actually lean towards teh99prayerkid's choice. A super computer would be really awesome. It would be the best for pretty much everything.

 

Invest in shares [stock market]/ Invest $10K in setting up a major bot farm.


Cars loose their value incredibly quickly, 10 years and a $50k car would be no more than a $10k bargain. Which is why unless I become wealthy, nice cars are out've the question.

 

I would pay for college tuition, 48,000 dollars to University of Washington

 

I'd buy a small two bedroom house for my girlfriend and I in a small town.

 

Even though you'd be spending tens of thousands of dollars on a computer, I don't see it being any more useful than a car in 10 years. In fact, probably significantly more outdated.

 

Computers lose wealth too.
I'd buy a nice car. No amount of money later in life can make you relive your senior year of high school in a different way. I'd be a show off, get a $40,000 car with insurance paid for quite a few years.

 

Invest in Domino's Pizza. That's what I do now

 

My sensible head would put $40k of it down on a deposit for a mortgage

The silly head would buy a brand new corvette z06

 

Computers become outdated 5 times faster than cars depreciate. If you really want to invest, get gold or real-estate.
