I like some electronic stuff like Pendulum and Grendel. Punk/Rock stuff like Rise Against and Zebrahead. And then heavier bands like Bring Me the Horizon, Trivium, and A Day To Remember. Any fast music usually works for me.

The Rocky Balboa themesong is the best, there's no doubt about it.

You need to talk about your music preferences.

For me, I can't excersize with hip-hop. I need something with a fast beat that keeps my heart pumping. I also can't seem to focus when there's sharp tones. I'm not gonna lie, some Nickleback songs work for me. Rock and alternative are my best choices.

Have you ever tried finding what makes you work out the best at all? If you can give a general genre, it would help.

Whatever pump up song I can think of.

If it pumps me up for a race, then it will help me workout/train better.

One that comes to mind is Fort Minor - Remember the Name

Personally, I like to get stoned and workout listening to Dubstep. It pumps the mind, body, and soul.

    Here's an example:

I have to listen to metal when I am at the gym. Helps me keep pumped up and makes me push further than expected.
Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Red, Ill Nino, Underoath, Atreyu etc.
