World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria! New expansion!

I'd like your thoughts on this!​

 

i believe it'll be an expansion. if you noticed the NPC in starting areas have been raised to 90.

That's a lot to be taken in and a ton to think about.

Panderian's would be an amazing class to play (I love the pet) and the whole neutral race / choosing sides is really nice. I feel we'd go up to 95 and in years to come Emerald Dream will finish off, but no one really knows.

 

Two things about a Neutral race at level 11 or 12:

• PvP available at level 10. Would not fit the above.
• [Have Group, Will Travel]
  • Running around Azeroth with Reputation/PvP/Zones/Etc conflicting

There would be a few problems with that, so I would expect it to be chosen whilst creating the character.

As for the Emerald Dream, I have no comments I can make at this time.

 

I really can't imagine the game lasting longer then one or two expansions more, there's already three out. Anyone over five seems a bit much but WoW is definitely the best MMO in my eyes - and in many others. If Blizzard can make the game last though then more power to them.

 

I will probably quit after my guild downs Deathwing, if this is the next expansion to expect anyway.. Shit name, shit sounding content.

 

This whole video is just some guys speculation so I guess take it with a grain of salt.

Anyways my take on the whole thing is the whole deal about Pandaria being an expansion has historically been ruled out because you can't show Panda's being killed in PRC. But of course theres that Trademark patten.

Blizz might be throwing a curveball though, if I remember right they didn't trademark Cataclysm until the very last moment, why trademark the next expansions name MONTHS before it would be announced? Assuming it is announced at Blizzcon.



Personally I don't know who the antagonist could even be with Pandaria, Pandarians are semi-canon within WoW lore, I don't know how Blizzard would implement them along with a slew of antagonists.

Guess we'll all just have to wait and see.

 

I think it may just be speculation, but I do like the concept of the new class.

 

It won't happen. How would the story carry on from Deathwings fall?

No but, there are so many video's and pages about this rumor.. And there are so many things saying that it could based on the storyline
It could just be that DeathWing falls and everything is going peacemode again, pandarians will secure Azeroth and will maybe venture new enemies.. Can see that happening to be honest :'(

I wish they brought this race earlier on.

I haven't played WoW in a few years now, not planning on going back.

 

Goblins and Worgen cannot join battlegrounds or be summoned until they complete their starting zone quests, so it wouldn't really be out of the question for blizzard to do the same for a neutral race.

 

Meh, sounds stupid.

WoW is a good game, but I don't see it lasting too much after the release of SWTOR. I LOOOOOVE WoW, but I know wayyy to many people buying SWTOR.

 

I could see Blizzard incorporating Pandaria with a south-seas style expansion, which players have been begging for years. They could bring in some nice villains like Azshara and N'zoth (continuing the events that will be seen in 4.3). I do hope that Pandarens don't become a playable race. I'd rather see a class like a monk or brewmaster come to fruition.

 

I don't really like the idea of a neutral race...I think if anything goblins should be neutral; they have always been working with both sides either selling goods or giving units rides on blimps in Warcraft3. Basically what I'm trying to say is this, if there was going to be neutral races, it would have already happened by now. Watch...maybe I'll be wrong =P.

Also, this is just another thing that gives me the felling that Blizz is trying to squeeze every last penny out of WoW before they scrap it for a new MMO (potentially).

 

Well, there is no doubt that WoW is a cash cow for Blizzard. However, based on their leaked product slate, there are still 2 expansions due to be released before their secret MMO "Titan" is released. It should also be noted that WoW is still Blizzard's number one source of income.

Honestly, the problem with Cataclysm was that during WoTLK, many people asked for old raids and zones to be revamped and rehashed. However, those same people then decided to hop on the bandwagon and scream bloody murder at the rehashed content. This resulted in much of the content of Cataclysm to be in the form of revamped content (mainly the 1-60 zones) and not enough end-game content.

I believe that for x4 and x5, Blizzard will hopefully produce some wonderful content. Which is already starting to show with Patch 4.3, which simply looks majestic at the moment.
