What would you do during a blackout?

Assume your town's power is cut. It can be night, day, because of a storm, powerline maintenance, etc. What would you do?

If it were during the day, I'd just go out and chill with friends around town. At night, I'd play Kick the Can/hide and seek with friends, or just read by myself with a flashlight... or party out on the beach. If it were during a storm, I guess I'd just read, or go out and play in the storm

play my guitar and wait for it to come back on like I do everytime it goes out lol.

 

I always hang out with my friends / do something stupd.

 

Hmm I have plenty of portable DVD players and stuff I'd watch some movies with my GF/friends or if during the day just go screw around play some basketball/soccer

 

1. Use the 5 hours of battery my computer has playing various computer games
2. Get some reading done, I'm always behind on reading.
3. Play a few board games with my siblings
4. Play with my iphone/ipad
5. Play with my ds/dsi/3ds until they all run out of battery..

I'm covered lol, last year this happened during spring break, this is basically what I did for two days However, soon I won't have to worry about this as my parents are working on getting a generator for our house as last time this happened my little sister was freaking out.

 

Dayumn, you ARE set... What about after you ran them all dead, and the power is still out? :>

 

Hmm....If it waw during the day, just play on my laptop, pep etc.

Different story if it happened during the night, got this laser gear, gun, jacket etc, because I have a big house, just run around messing around in the dark with the laser guns and the hackers to show when you been hit.

 

Day time - go hang out with my cousins or friends
Night time - go play some football or somethin
Storm - Shit my pants, invite ppl to my house

 

I Normaly break out the portable dvd player, weight bench, or go to sleep.

 

Considering blackouts used to happen a lot where I live, I would just be sitting there waiting for the power to come back on.
