Not saying that N4n0 did scam more than once, but I'd just like to point out that Plznate claimed he had only fake vouched once even though people found many more posts of him fake vouching.

 

I don't understand why Wulf is still banned for scamming $8 and paying it back, but n4n0 is unbanned after scamming $200 and not paying it back... hmm.

fake vouching does nothing in small amounts, so you essentially need more than one to do anything. (You don't trust someone with one vouch). from one scam worth $200, you do get something... basically $200, and that isn't a small amount for many of us.

Wulf wasn't an OMM, wulf didn't have as many vouches as N4n0. I still support an unban, but the staff is voting themselves.

 

I've already said it once in this thread, but I guess I need to say it again.

Search my posts. Every single one of them. Search my threads. You won't find anything, because there's nothing to find, and I have nothing to hide. If you don't believe me, feel free to enlist the assistance of a mod/admin if you think I'm hiding something. They can see deleted posts. Surely if I'm hiding something, they'll find it. But wait, there's nothing to find, because I've got nothing to hide!

this is stupid... 4 years ago.. nano was a young kid.. just like most of us 4 years ago well i was 17 im 21 now but nano may be 18 now and 14 then.. point is we all do young and dumb stuff.. havent one of u maybe broke a parental rule got n trouble grounded or even broke a minor or major law.. and been punished did the time and then redeemed yourself by learning your lesson??

The only other blemish on my record aside from that $200, is a paypal limit which occured back in February. I promptly paid back anyone affected by said limit. Feel free to research that as well.

 

There's a difference between being punished and getting off scott free.

We have no idea who the staff like better... apparently, they like n4n0 better because a majority of the staff wanted him unbanned first...

 

N4n0, I trust that you didn't scam more than once However, all I was saying was that if someone was to admit to scamming, they didn't necessarily have to admit to ALL of their scams. This would only be true for a non trusted member, I believe you when you say that you have not scammed more than once.

 

Let me put it this way:

Why would I admit to only a part of my misdeeds, have the chance of being pardoned, and then somewhere down the line have someone find out I lied?

That would be completely and utterly retarded. Sure. Admit to PART of my misdeeds. Ohhh hey look someone found out about something else I did. Banned with no chance for pardon.

I'm not a fool. I admitted to everything.

 

Why are you given special privleges when 99% of the other sythe members would NEVER come back after doing what you did.

 

Since 95% of the members didn't contribute as much as him to the site.

However that leaves 4% unaccounted for, so I feel that some people should have their pardons reviewed and perhaps let back into sythe.

 

essentially what I said.

1) he proved that he was a valuable asset to the community as a mod and middleman. He wasn't a random dude who scammed any chance he got... he scammed once in his past.

2) he didn't essentially get any special privileges. I bet most people would come back if they repaid what they scammed, and if they requested a high pardon themselves. (I.e they came clean themselves).

 

2 big reasons.

1) Because had I never admitted to it, chances are very good that no one would have ever found out.

2) Because I've contributed more to sythe (both monetary and time) than most users would even dream of doing. I'm no longer a mod, and yet I'm still going out of my way to assist the staff in any way possible. There's not a lot of users who can say the same.

 

Okay, giving the benefit of the doubt on your 2nd point, let's say some random did scam and repay it and came back. He would be slapped with a TWC for at least a year... Where's n4n0's twc?
