What do you regret doing most in life.

Being shy, not being able to walk to women at all. I honestly freeze up and can't say anything.

Playing runescape,world of warcraft, and maplestory on and off for the past 5 years of my life.

Not having a social life (so far) in highschool, I'm never picked on because I am pretty tall and I don't ever give a fuck if somebody hated me or said shit about me.

I'm 16 and only have had one serious girlfriend..Still a virgin.

I don't regret smoking weed and doing other drugs. I never did any serious drugs, I tried Ecstasy and Shrooms a few weeks ago. It was awesome. Really wish I had some weed now though...everyone seems to be dry in my area.

 

As many people have said, the many hours I have spent playing online games. Most of my life has disappeared because of games...all wasted. My childhood was too short...tbh I cry whenever I think about this too much.

Oh and finding dicing on runescape...I've lost 5.1b to date doing so :S

 

Most of the experiences I currently regret are some of the most vital learning experiences of my life. This may seem odd for someone to admit but I was overly clingly in highscool. Love on girl to death, I'd do anything for her...blah blah blah. She could careless and cheated cause she knew I'd always come back. I never gave up and once graduation come she left out before we talked about what exactly we were. Looking back I regretted the entire way I treated her during high school.

After a year at college and some deep thinking I managed to visit and we bonded. This story doesn't end sad and is still being written however I do regret not treating her differently we might of ended up together at the same college. Then again you live and you learn so don't let regrets control your life.

 

I can't really think of anything I regret doing in my life.

Probably moving at one of the hardest ages of life(I'm 15 and moved 6hours from all my friends, and being around the middle of highschool it's actually really hard to fit in.)

 

I regret following the crowd. For some reason I always wanted to be one of the "cool" kids so i'd do stupid stuff. Out of all those people that i hung out with I can say 2 of them are true friends. I also regret not giving a shit in school seeing as how it's put me in this fucked up position. I also regret getting into Runescape and RSPS. Don't get me wrong it was fun but it just wasted alot of my childhood. I will outa nowhere start thinking about all this stuff and say i'm just a total fuckup i don't need to live. I know i said alot but honestly i regret most of my life...

Having logged ~300 days on RuneScape. Omfg. I still can't believe it.. when I think about what I could have done with that time, instead, I shiver. But, really... when it comes down to it... what else would I have done from 6th-9th grade, with my free time?

Completely agree. I look at my cousins who had close to zero access to video games and they lead very healthy lifestyles, have friends like them who enjoy the outdoors, etc. I wish I could have been more exposed and shown more interest for sports and outdoorsy things than I did. Don't get me wrong, I'm still an athlete, but a big chunk of my time was spent on games that could have been spent outside.

They say that you make friends with people who have made similar lifestyle choices to you...I think I'd have liked to have active, athletic friends.

Another regret is enjoying my childhood too much? I know it's weird but I'd have liked to figure out what I wanted to do for a job at a young age like my sister did. I went through my senior years of highschool all confused and am paying the price now...Took an extra year of highschool, went to university, and am planning on switching courses and schools entirely because of bad choices. I'd have also liked to take a bigger interest in girls at a younger age They weren't that high on my priority list back in say, grade 9, so now that I think back I realize that I passed up on a lot of opportunities to...Experiment a bit.

 

Not getting enough courage to go after the girl i liked, it's been 4 years already and it's been the same. I just hope i can see her one last time !

 

Yes nice grave-dig indeed. I actually find it interesting to read peoples post's on this thread. Most of them are about schooling/girls/video games. For myself, I don't really regret anything in my life yet since I'm still so young.

 

I regret investing my trust into people that are careless. Don't trust anyone. Even the people that you love are out to get you, if they know what they don't like.

 

Fighting a lot in Middle School.

 

i regret not being around more when my friend from high school really needed me. It's to late now to make up for it as she is no longer with us but it is a deep regret that i think about on a daily basis. She stayed home from school i was suppose to take her homework over after school but i had an important basketball practice and just thought i would take it to her after basketball i call her cell after basketball and her dad answers and informs me that she has passed. I always think why didnt i go right after school maybe she would still be here today if i went over and talked to her before basketball but no one will ever know if it would have made a difference so i regret it still.

 

Being lazy and not taking up good opportunities and chances.

 

There are a few things I regret deeply in my life.

One of the bigger ones though... I regret the way I have treated people in the past, and the way I have taken people close to me for granted. I've had to lose a few people very close to me who I have loved very much for me to learn my lesson. I don't think I will ever take somebody like that for granted, ever again.
