Banned members of 2011

Since you seem to be out of the loop I'll go into fair detail about why each of the 6 moderators or no longer instated:

Cosrob97 - Voluntarily left the team, did not scam, was not demoted, simply had exams until late September and didn't have the time to moderate.
n4n0 - Submitted a high pardon admitting to scamming in the past, the scam in question was $200 back in 2007 I believe. Currently, n4n0 is a Dragon Dyce host, who handles billions of GP worth thousands of dollars daily.
Wulfspade1 - Submitted a higher pardon admitting to scamming in the past, the scam in question was $8 when he first joined Sythe.
Add My MSN- IP Matched that of a multitude of banned users. No scam reports on this account though, and just recently completed a trade worth 450 Euro's ($690 USD)
Louis - Botched another OMM trade worth 1.7 Billion RSGP, will not be eligible to return until paid back.
Plznate - Owes FireZ $340, I have good confidence that this will be paid back in due time.

 

I know why they were banned from your previous posts on this thread. I just misused the word "scam", sorry. I shouldn't have said that phrase "scam together". I guess I got carried away

Let's just say I meant to say that it's strange that five high-ranked members get ripped of their status in such short notice. I just hope that they can return as if nothing had happened.

 

If you cant trust mods who are chosen by the admin of the website for their good behavior, who can you trust?

Honestly I'm steamed that if Louis botched 2 trades before, why the hell was he allowed to mm my trade worth 1.7b? He should of lost his rank/been banned before my issue ever arose. Dumb tbh.

 

I don't know what his other trades were but he clearly was responsible for this one. There isn't any excuse for him not to pay you back. He basically just admitted that he would have scammed if he could so he really isn't the person we thought he was. People change in a matter of the situation I guess....just need a new system in place for staff/omm.

Agree with new system. This week is a testiment to that And I know that Louis more than likely won't pay me back, especially because he think I intentionally went out of my way to ban him. Which I did not for the record. Although 1.7b really hurts, I'll make it back. And I'll move on.

 

The first trade Louis messed up wasn't his fault (according to Louis himself, but idk if that's true).

The majority of the mods picked by the fellow members of Sythe already have plenty of vouches to begin with, but what I'm saying is that the rank doesn't make the user trustworthy; it's the trades that have been done.

I would trust a top gold marketer more than a moderator of similar quality/quantity of vouches if we were dealing with gold trading, unless the moderator is also a top marketer.

 

Disappointing month for Sythe hopefully the Louis and Viet incidents are taken into consideration when other staff/ highly trusted members ask for a pardon.

 

I totally agree with you.

This month has been the most disappointing month in my sythe.org career. I've disappointed myself and others. Others have disappointed me. Moderators are being banned, etc.
