Integrate Homework Help with Help, Requests & Tech. Support.

Activity is diminishing in Homework Help, and I don't think there's enough in there to warrant its own section. I'm suggesting that it be integrated with Help, Requests and & Tech Support. As the title of the sub-section states, it's still a place where you can request for work to be done, so I think given the activity of Homework Help it's better off gone.

Something else I noticed:


With User Education gone, there is no longer a guides section... so it doesn't really make sense.

 

Definitely seems more practical to be included in that forum.

activity is low on the homwork help section because people genrelly have homework thats due tomorrow and they no people wont help in time.
I fear if these 2 sections are merged together it would be too confusing

It's been inactive long before summer break As I said, Help and Requests can still accommodate whatever Homework threads there may be.

 

I support. Wouldn't it not be possible to replace it with another topic section we think will accommodate enough activity and deserves it's own section/forum for? I'm not sure what but I know for sure there are some.

I support this, perhaps there will be more viewers in the section that way. When I needed some help with homework earlier this year, I did not get an answer until long after my assignment was finished Whatever would bring more activity has my support.

 

Support; It would be nice to combine the two. More of the threads there would be looked at at the very least.

 

I made a suggestion for a Technology section, but it was denied because there are already a lot of sub sections in Off-Topic. Maybe we will see a new section or maybe we wont, we'll have to wait for an administrator's input.

 

Every time I check the homework help section it is almost always dead. Also, only about half of the people even return to their thread after the initial post.

Due to this inactivity, I support your suggestion and think that it would be better off merged together with the help and requests section.

 

It should have been removed ages ago.

 

I support both the integration or removal of the section. Homework Help is basically dead, so really no use of it being there and if it is staying then I think it should be moved.

 

Support, both of these sections are pretty in-active and merging them would help.

Activity has been significantly lower than any of the other sections even during school. I'm not sure school being in session will change anything. I still support a merge rather than a full removal though.

 

For the rare cases someone actually, I think a merge would be better than removal. Support on this suggestion.
