Who here agrees with me how santas and hweens price bumped up 100mil in a year. isnt that gay?

 

How is that even remotely 'Gay'

Rares are rares they will continue to go up no matter what, they cannot be produced in game anymore that's why there has been a 'Price bump'

Nope, it's not surprising.

 

Last July santas hit 120m...Now they are 132m...so it went up 12m lol in a year and a month. H'weens were a similar price (I don't remember the exact, I didn't keep track of them.) Tbh Reds were above 400m street price at one point in 2010 (3 reds were a purple, which was 1.2b)...

Even if they did go up 100m, they are rares...

It isn't even directed towards a person.



OT: Yeah, I wish I kept my Santa. I bought one at 52.5M and sold it at 80M. Wish I sold it now...

 

They're all way more expensive than they should be. Prices will rise as people get more money..

No it's not "gay". It's a rare there are only going to be less of them so why wouldn't the price rise?

 

It's funny because Santa's have gone down twice in two days and now are 128M in GE price.

 

Sounds like you're the one who needs to grow up. You are correct that the word "gay" isn't inherently bad. In fact, it's used to describe a fairly large group of people.

The problem is in the way that OP used it. It was used as a way of saying there is something wrong with something. This usage of connotation is used to imply that to be gay is to be stupid or wrong. Though indirect, it is an attack people who are gay.

It doesn't matter to what it was directed. See above.

 

I did the same thing the year before last, bought one for 20m. Dropped 2 mil the night after I got it and I sold it! I took a break from runescape shortly after.. Log back on about 8 months later and they are 200m!

 

Thats why im trying to get my hands on one before i quit runescape.

Rares will always go up.
