Give me a minute to find the slip I wrote the name down on. He was a silver star rank thing, whatever that means. He gave the payout to the wrong person, which I found suspicious as he did the same thing to another guy about 10 minutes later. I originally was about to just count my losses and go make 25mil back, but when I saw it happened again something just wasn't right.

9GB is the name. Idk who that person is, but I'm wondering if he was drunk or hacked or something, as you all insist your hosts are legit and this type of thing never happens, let alone twice in a row.

 

Hmm, I don't know. If you have 100% proof of it, show it to twisted, I am pretty sure he would get de-ranked. I am not a host, so I don't know. It most likely is an honest mistake. When ranks are 1bil + you aren't going to scam 25mil

 

What worried me more than anything was that it happened twice, almost back to back, totaling 45mil in losses. I don't have proof of it, as I didn't think I needed to fraps myself dicing, but maybe next time I will. Also, it's true they do handle billions, but that worries me a bit as well since he was asking for hundred millions of bets all night (and if he had gotten one, what would have happened then?)

Money to me means next to nothing in a game. Honor and respect mean almost everything. I didn't post on this thread to flame anyone, rather, to make you aware of the situation. Since my first two posts incited anger I'll edit them. Something tells me though that most of the rage was greed induced...

Did you lose the 45mil total, or just the 25mil?
What rank was he? A lower rank, or higher?

 

He was a silver star rank, and I checked twice before trading him that he was legit and in clan. If it was an imposter, he did one hell of a job looking exactly like the guy who was legit.

I lost 25 mil. Another guy, a guy after me (who kept flaming the CC for a while) lost 20 mil. I tried to calm the other guy down a bit, but it really only set in that it was the same guy who screwed up both trades, and that's when things started to click.

It's like I'm trying to say, I mean no disrespect to Dragon Dyce, but I also lost all trust for them. And I'll say it again if I have to, I am in gratitude for the generous gift, but should Twisted feel I no longer deserve it then we'll discuss that.

I'm not trying to be one of the bad guys here. And I really don't appreciate being flamed by people I can only assume are gold-digging for having a concern. I'm not pointing fingers or naming names, and that is certainly a discussion for an absolutely later date.

Either way, I need to be off for a bit. My new career isn't going to find itself.

 

If you are talking about me, I am not. People make honest mistakes though, having it happen twice, if it is true is really odd though.
I was there when someone was bitching to BRB I believe, but I think that got resolved.
Did you PM the host? I never do personally, but they do tell you to add the host and pm him for verification.

 

No, I didn't, and that was probably my folly.

 

See, it does happen quite a bit when I am up there, someone gets screwed by not pm'ing host/trading wrong host then starts raging bigtime. They can only do so much.
They will never scam you, I have used at least 10 different hosts and never had a problem at least.

It is very hard to get a host rank. Stay at DD and help out and get noticed and that might help

 

Hmmm I live on the East Coast so the drop party is at 5:30am for me. Do you guys suggest I stay up until then or do you suggest I go to bed early and then wake up at 5:00 am (so I can get into W2, I'm sure it will be full) to attend the drop party?

Honestly, there is no debate about this. Hosts will never scam. If you got scammed, then you did NOT trade a rank (you traded an impostor). I've done 1 billion bet with them without any problem at all. And have continued to do larger wagers. It was YOUR fault for trading a non rank and now you have the audacity to accuse one of the most reputable clans in all of RS for scamming? Please gtfo. People like you piss me off.
